π’Roadmap & Status | Q&A
We have divided product development into two steps and created a roadmap. Step 1 focuses on PoC for computer vision MRV, and verifies whether carbon farming technology utilizing computer vision can determine the value of carbon sequestration that meets standards such as Goldstandard for forest inspection around the world. In this phase, we provide ML Ops to companies and generate revenue through consulting fees. In Step 2, we will generate carbon credits from the verified value of carbon sequestration in Step 1 and move on to the development of Tokenomics and a marketplace. Revenue in Step 2 will be generated through transaction fees from the buying and selling of carbon credit tokens.
Status | Q&A Where are you with the development of the project? 1. We have internally trained and stored several versions of ready to use computer vision models and MLOps(Machine Learning Ops) system for Proof of Concept deals with enterprise clients. 2. Token modeling prototype by solidity/rust. 3. Carbon Capturing prototype dashboard built with Google Earth Engine. (Demo video attached) Carbontribe Computer Vision MRV | Land coverage classification Prototype DEMO https://youtu.be/TgbDE_7r2Kg How do you plan to leverage IPFS? IPFS can be used to store and distribute forest regeneration related data, such as satellite images, videos, and documents, in a decentralized and secure manner. This can help ensure the transparency and traceability of the products, which can be important for sustainability and ethical reasons. IPFS can also be used to create a decentralized marketplace for our carbon credit tokens. Which is your partner / provider for the satellite data? 1. We are officially partnering with the GCP- Google Earth Engine team at Google. (One of co-founder is ex-Google) 2. Alternatively Planet.com, Maxar, Nearmap, Eagleview, Vexel could be suppliers of the satellite data. What is your USP? Our USP: 1. With our approach, we can remotely assess the value of a plotted land and calculate the Co2 sequestration capability, timelapse by combining machine learning | sota computer vision + Google Earth Engine satellite data, eventually creating a digital twin of carbon farming. Thus itβs scalable, flexible and low cost compared to a traditional Lidar+Drone assessment like Pachama and Treeconomy are providing. (Please find slide attached) 2. Carbontribe will have our own token carbon credit marketplace in the next phase after establishing a certain clients of MRV, also considering to be integrating ReFi verifier (e.g. OFP) and marketplace(e.g.Senken) for faster carbon credit token issuance and wider distribution than working with traditional verifiers (VERRA&GoldStandard) .
